There has been a paragraph speculating that the unnamed admin in leag green is archer. Is this notable? I frequently run across many specilations on bulbapedia but many senior editors seem to suggest that speculation does not belong here. Ariana has a similar speculation on her page. FireRed/LeafGreen

Since we're taking a leap and saying that Apollo is the executive in charge of TR in GSC as well as HGSS, how would FRLG add into this? We have two Team Rocket Admins (one male and one female) in the Sevii Islands. The Female one could be Athena. Does anyone else have any thoughts?--Purimpopoie 17:51, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't think so because FRLG happened before HGSS/GSC (chronologically) and the levels are higher. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 17:54, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Level argument doesn't hold up: Lance's Pokemon similarly "Level Down" between Generation I/III and II/IV. And I don't see how FRLG happening "first" makes it less likely.--Purimpopoie 18:00, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
I meant that there is no known way of leveling down in the main games and it had a higher level so there must have been a leveling down. Besides, the teams are very different (Golbat, Weezing, and Houndoom compared to Houndour, Koffing, and Houndoom). Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 18:04, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
That's not a HUGE difference... Just one different. Are you saying that since Hariyama's one Bruno's team means that it's not the same character we're talking about? Don't get me wrong. I think it's different people nonetheless, but the reasoning is weak. ht14 20:28, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
That is different. In Bruno's case, he has a name and in Pokémon Adventures, he joins with the other members of the Johto E4 after quitting the Kanto E4. Also, weren't those Team Rocket members part of the Sevii Islands branch which ended up being closed down? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 01:24, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

US Name

His official name is Archer [1]

Ok then, we need to get someone to add this now. I'd do it myself but it won't let me edit this page. Same with the other pages. Also, should we rename most of the pages about HGSS to match the english name of should we just wait until the release, because I think most people are used to calling characters by their japanese names. Fudgenuggets 06:57, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
No. We are not doing anything until the games' releases. --ケンジガール 06:59, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Olympian gods

Could his and Athena's Japanese name also come from the Olympian gods Apollo, the god of the sun, and Athena, the goddess of wisdom? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 14:50, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

In Stadium 2

Couldn't we say that Archer/Apollo also appeared as the Rocket Executive in Gym Leader Castle? That battle used his 'canonical design' of the time and the character played the exact same role (boss of Team Rocket in Giovanni's place). You could say the same thing about Arianna/Athena, who has a stronger case because there was only ever one female Executive. --The Great Butler 06:26, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Interim boss

Is it really correct to assume that Archer is the interim boss of Team Rocket? He never identifies himself like that - on the other hand, Ariana explicitly identifies herself as the "interim boss in the place of Giovanni". - Taylor 19:01, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

This is a good question. Ariana's statement ("As the interim boss in place of Giovanni, I'll show you not to mess with Team Rocket!") is in the original games too, so isn't there a case? --The Great Butler 06:01, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Why would Archer be the final boss you face, and why would he disband Team Rocket if Ariana was in charge? --HoennMaster 23:11, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Something doesn't add up. They call Petrel the boss too, in the Mahogany base. I wonder if Team Rocket has more of a council leadership instead of just a single Boss in this incarnation. --The Great Butler 02:08, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Maybe. There is a grunt in the Radio Tower who says that Proton is the leader of the Radio Tower takeover when he really isn't. --HoennMaster 04:21, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
In all of these cases, the Executives were referred to as Bosses by other members. Only Ariana introduced herself as the Boss. I guess that's what they're saying. - D-Wheel 23:28, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Leaf Green

There has been a paragraph speculating that the unnamed admin in leag green is archer. Is this notable? I frequently run across many specilations on bulbapedia but many senior editors seem to suggest that speculation does not belong here. Ariana has a similar speculation on her page. Anyway I have removed both here and Ariana. Unless consensus says otherwise, it should not be readded. RubyLeafGreenCrystal (talk) 02:41, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
