In a test of this glitch, Mamoswine was completely unaffected by the damage from the glitch.  The glitch still affected other Pokémon on the field like normal.  It seems that not being affected might be keyed off of immunity to {{m|Sandstorm}} and {{m|Hail}}.  I hope to test this at some point with {{m|Skill Swap}} and {{a|Sand Veil}}.  [[User:Surfingpika|Surfingpika]] 07:00, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Was just plying in the Battle Tower today and had Tyranitar as my lead.  Used Pursuit on a switching Pokemon, and the weather changed to Rain + Sandstorm (buffeted by Sandstorm twice).  However, my Tyranitar was unharmed.  The other trainer did not have a sandstorm immune Pokemon so I don't know if Sand Stream is another ability or if all Sandstorm-immune Pokemon are immune to this glitch. This explanation seems to be very inaccurate. There's a video on how to ACTUALLY do it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aN2xKY82Sc This page should becompletely redone.Dialga123176 04:00, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Trainer battles

Can this occur in-game? I only saw it via YouTube about Wi-Fi ones. Also, there seems to be two versions: Rain + Sandstorm (buffeted by Sandstorm) or all four weather conditions (hurt by its <insert ability here>). The first one is activated via Sand Veil, while the other is via Snow Warning. ht14 00:38, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't doubt it. Some Trainers switch Pokémon. Some Trainers use Pursuit. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to set up. —darklordtrom 03:20, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok. Now that that's answered...how about part two? There are two versions. This is notable. ht14 03:12, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Possible immunities

In a test of this glitch, Mamoswine was completely unaffected by the damage from the glitch. The glitch still affected other Pokémon on the field like normal. It seems that not being affected might be keyed off of immunity to Sandstorm and Hail. I hope to test this at some point with Skill Swap and Sand Veil. Surfingpika 07:00, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Rayquaza?

Would rayquaza be immune to its effects by Air Lock?--F1restar 12:28, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

That's a good question. We don't know if Psyduck and Golduck with Cloud Nine are affected either. R.A. Hunter Blade 17:20, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
