Shiny

Isn't Abra special in the fact that Abra's shiny sprite is truly shiny, instead of alternately colored?--KukiTalk 19:37, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Anybody understand what he's taking about? --ニョロトノ666 19:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

I think i do. Abra's Shiny sprite looks almost exactly the same. David Aipom

Yeah, he means that Abra's shiny sprite looks like someone polished it. I'm Missingno. Master, and I approve this message. 19:50, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Kind of. Think "shiny" in the way of how gold is shiny. It's not very notable though, as I know Glaceon and Leafeon share this lighter-colored-shiny trait. Tina 19:51, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

So does Togepi David Aipom 20:52, 10 May (GMT)..

So is that a yes to addition to trivia? I mean we could always add an 'it shares this trait with... (whichever Pokemon it does share the trait with)' at the end!--KukiTalk 19:55, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

No, Togepi is darker in the shiny sprites (in Gen IV)--KukiTalk 19:56, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

No. I did say not very notable, as a lot of Pokémon are like that. Tina 19:57, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Platinum Location

Abra can be found on Route 215... I don't know about other locations. I don't want to edit the article without knowing everything yet so... yeah :D User:goldraine

If it hasn't been done already, I'll put it in.Leafgreener in 2010 16:17, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Cat?

Aside from looking like a cat, abra sleeps 18 hours a day, cats sleep 16 hours a day. User:Porygon master

Removed trivia

The trivia "* Abra is one of 5 Kanto Pokémon that had its base experience yield changed in Generation IV. Its former base experience was 73. The others are Machop, Geodude, Omanyte, and Kabuto." still seems notable to me, much more so than other trivia deleted by Crystal Talian. This information should definately stay on the page, for anyone who is playing the first 3 gens of games. And of course the same goes for Machop and the others mentioned. Zurqoxn (talk) 15:39, 27 March 2013 (UTC)

The change is mentioned via tooltip in Abra's infobox. Since it was more than one Pokémon that changed, and since the information is already on the page, I currently do not feel that it needs to be added back. However, I will ask staff how they feel about it, and happily add it back if it is notable. Thank you for pointing it out. Crystal Talian 21:50, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
Oh right, I forgot about tooltips. Complaint withdrawn, I guess. Zurqoxn (talk) 12:59, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
