(Japanese: タイチ Taichi) is a character in the Pokémon - The Legend of the Dragon King manga. He is a competitor in the Dragon King tournament, where he meets and becomes friends with Akira. He possesses a Mega Ring and an Ampharosite, which gives his Ampharos the capability to Mega Evolve into Mega Ampharos.
History
Taichi and Akira first meet in Dragon King Tournament Finally Begins!! at the Dragon King tournament. They later face each other in battle in Fierce Fighting! Akira VS Taichi!!, which ended with Akira's Mega Charizard defeating Taichi's Mega Ampharos.
