Release information
In Japan, during the months of May and June 2010, those who bought two LEGEND series booster packs were entered into a drawing to win one of one thousand sets of Suicune, Raikou, and Entei.

Origin
This Suicune card is based on the Template:Shiny2 Nintendo event Suicune given out in Japanese movie theaters playing Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark in July 2010. ExtremeSpeed is a move in the Pokémon games that the event Suicune knows.
