Stun Spore (Japanese: しびれごな Numbing Powder) is a mostly accurate non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Generation I

Stun Spore paralyzes the opponent.

Stun Spore can't affect an opponent that already has a major status ailment.

In Stadium, Stun Spore can't affect an opponent that has a substitute.

In the anime

Pokémon

Venonat. Venonat shakes its fur and an orange mist is released from. Any Pokémon that gets trapped in the mist becomes paralyzed.

Venomoth. An orange mist is released by the flapping of its wings. Any Pokémon that gets trapped in the mist becomes paralyzed.

Dustox. Same as above.

Vileplume. An orange mist is released Vileplume's opening in it's flower on its head. Any Pokémon that gets trapped in the mist becomes paralyzed.
