Storm Throw (Japanese: やまあらし Mountain Storm) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation V.
Effect
Generation V
Storm Throw inflicts damage and will always result in a critical hit unless the target has Battle Armor, Shell Armor, or is under the effects of Lucky Chant.
Generation VI
Storm Throw's power changed from 40 to 60. Since the critical hit damage modifier was reduced from 2× to 1.5× this generation, the damage Storm Throw deals remains largely the same.

Trivia
- All Pokémon capable of learning Storm Throw are capable of having the Ability Mold Breaker, which will negate the protection from critical hits normally provided by Battle Armor and Shell Armor. This makes Lucky Chant the only guaranteed way to prevent Storm Throw from getting a critical hit.
