Spurt! (Japanese: スパート! lit. Supāto!) was the fifth and final opening theme song for the Japanese Advanced Generation Pokémon anime series. It debuted in AG166, replacing Battle Frontier.

It was also used as the Pokémon Sunday ending from PS074 onwards.

Synopsis

Trivia

  • Lapras was not included in the opening two scenes with the rest of Ash's Pokémon.
  • Donphan does not fly with the other Pokémon after the title was shown.
  • Butterfree has the yellow scarf that Brock gave it.
  • Haunter and Beedrill do not make appearances, most likley due to having new trainers.
  • Primeape, Charizard, and Squirtle do not appear in the section showcasing released Pokémon. However, all of these Pokémon are in training, so they have not been technically released.
