Spore (Japanese: キノコのほうし Mushroom Spore) is a non-damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I. Up until Generation III, it was Paras and Parasect's signature move.

Effect

Spore puts the target to sleep.

Spore can't affect a target that already has a major status ailment.

In Stadium, Spore can't affect a target that has a Substitute.
