Speed Boost (Japanese: かそく Acceleration) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Eight Pokémon can have this Ability.

Effect

In battle

Speed Boost raises the user's Speed stat by one stage, at the end of each turn in battle.

Outside of battle

Speed Boost has no effect outside of battle.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon

Pokémon will receive a permanent boost for movement speed every 250 turns.
