The Soul Dew (Japanese: こころのしずく Soul Dew) is a held item that increases the power of Psychic-type and Dragon-type moves of Latios or Latias by 20%. Prior to Generation VII, it raised the Special Attack and Special Defense of Latios or Latias by 50% when held.

It was banned from official tournaments due to the large boost, in tournaments before Generation VII. Similarly, if used in the Battle Tower, Battle Frontier, Battle Subway, or Battle Maison, Soul Dew's effect was nullified. With the change in effect in Generation VII, it is now allowed to be used in official tournaments and in in-game battle facilities.

In the games

In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, it is held by the wild LatiasRE or LatiosSE that resides on Hoenn's Southern Island.

Released in the Theater Limited VS Pack half deck, it features an illustration by Hiromichi Sugiyama. This Trainer card allows the player to search their deck for a Pokémon with Alto Mare in its name and add it to their Bench; they may also move an Energy card from another of their Pokémon to the new Pokémon before shuffling their deck.
