Sniper (Japanese: スナイパー Sniper) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
In battle
Critical hits will do 1.5× the normal critical hit damage (i.e. 3× instead of 2× in Generation IV and Generation V, and 2.25× instead of 1.5× in Generation VI onwards).
Outside of battle
Sniper has no effect outside of battle.
