Effect

Sludge Bomb inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target.

  • In Generation IV, Sludge Bomb's in-Bag TM description differs from its description on its user's attack listing. In the bag, it says "Unsanitary sludge is hurled at the foe.", while in the move description it says "The user attacks by hurling filthy sludge at the foe."
  • All Pokémon able to learn Sludge Bomb via level-up are part of a two-stage evolutionary line.
