Release information
This card was included as both a Regular and a Full Art card in the English Boundaries Crossed expansion. The Regular print originates from the Japanese Cold Flare expansion and features artwork by Yusuke Ohmura, while the Full Art print originates from the Japanese Plasma Gale expansion and features artwork by Kanako Eo. The Regular print was later reprinted in the Japanese Black Kyurem-EX and White Kyurem-EX Battle Strength Decks, and Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck. A special Mirror Holofoil version of the Regular print was made available for the Chespin Season of the 2013 Pokémon League Cycle.
A new Full Art print with artwork by Megumi Mizutani was released in Japan as an XY-P Promotional card and was given to customers in stores hosting Pokémon Card Gym meetings who purchased 2 boxes in any combination of Blue Shock or Red Flash upon their release. This print features the expansion logos on the bottom of the card. The Regular print was reprinted again in the BREAKthrough expansion, previously released in the Japanese Raichu and Noivern BREAK Evolution Packs.
