In the Pokémon Adventures manga
Sidney first appeared in The Beginning of the End with Kyogre & Groudon XIII with Wallace upon being called on by the Hoenn League champion, Steven. Using his Zangoose, he tried to break open the seal placed upon Regirock in the Desert Ruins to help avoid the imminent destruction of Hoenn from Groudon and Kyogre's conflict. When Steven, with Sapphire's help, was able to reawaken the three legendary golems, Sidney, together with Drake, were in charge of Regirock before Steven's death left the three golems freed from their jurisdiction and soon fled.
