Shroomish (Japanese: キノココ Kinococo) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon.

This section ends with frilled segments, which overlap its green underside, which is round and has small, round feet. Shroomish seem to have a near permanent frown on their face.
Gender differences

Behavior
Habitat

Diet
- Main article: Pokémon food
Shroomish eat naturally decayed plants, leaves, and other compost found on the forest floor. However, they are sometimes found in possesion of a Kebia Berry.
In the anime
Shroomish first appeared in Taming of the Shroomish. Ash and friends saved a group of these Mushroom Pokémon from having the abandoned mansion they called home from being destroyed.
Several Shroomish that Team Rocket angered evolved into Breloom in A Shroomish Skirmish.

- Shroomish is the only Grass-type to learn Wake-Up Slap via breeding.
- On that note, Shroomish doesn't even have visible hands to perform the move.
Origin
Shroomish is based on a mushroom.
Name origin
Shroomish's name is derived from mushroom and the suffix -ish, is like. Its Japanese name is a combination of 茸 kinoko, mushrooms, and 子 ko, child. Shroomish's Japanese name may also be from Kinopio, the Japanese name of Toad
