Shinobu is a member of Ninja Village and is always seen next to Hanzō, the village elder despite his youthful appearance, in fact she is a lady of about a hundred years. She met up with Ash and his friends and attended Sanpei's Pokémon battle with his brother Nihei.
Later, the Ninja Village was attacked by villainous ninjas. During the attack, she tried to protect Hanzō, but failed. She then set out to find him together with Sanpei, Ash, and his friends.
