In Japan, this card was originally released as a promotional card. It was available through the Pokémon Card Fan Club from April 2000 onwards. In order to obtain it, players had to earn a total of 600 GET Points. This version has the same embossed foil treatment that would later be featured on the Shining Pokémon in Neo Destiny and no rarity symbol. It was included in the Neo Revelation expansion, having been reprinted in the Japanese Awakening Legends expansion.
