Shell Trap (Japanese: トラップシェル Trap Shell) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Turtonator.
Effect
Shell Trap is a decreased priority move. The user sets up a trap at the beginning of the turn, and if hit by a physical move, will execute Shell Trap at -3 priority.
Shell Trap fails if the user flinches, is hit by an ally, or the attack hit its substitute.
