Shed Skin (Japanese: だっぴ Molting) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Sixteen Pokémon can have this Ability.
Effect
In battle
At the end of each turn, Shed Skin has a 30% chance of curing the Pokémon of a non-volatile status condition. If Shed Skin cures a Pokémon of burn or poison, it will do so before any burn or poison damage is dealt on that turn.
Outside of battle
Shed Skin has no effect outside of battle.
