Shed Skin (Japanese: だっぴ Molting) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Sixteen Pokémon can have this Ability.
Effect
In battle
At the end of each turn, Shed Skin has a 30% chance of curing the Pokémon of a non-volatile status condition. If the Pokémon is burned or poisoned, Shed Skin will cure the user before any burn or poison damage is dealt.
Outside of battle
Shed Skin has no effect outside of battle.
