In the anime
Shabboneau Castle appeared in Awakening the Sleeping Giant! alongside the Parfum Palace. In the anime it is ruled by Lord Shabboneau. A Poké Flute is normally kept there. Ash and his friends traveled to the castle to try and convince the lord to play the flute to wake up a Snorlax, only to find out it was taken by Princess Allie of Parfum Palace.
