Location of Seven Grapefruit Islands in the Orange Archipelago

The Seven Grapefruit Islands (Japanese: ザボン七島 Seven Zabon Islands) are a chain of seven tiny isles in the eastern region of the Orange Archipelago. The islands grow grapefruits, and is the only place where they grow them in the Orange Islands. The people on this island also make the grapefruit peels into candies.

Although the islands are famous for their grapefruits, they were not grown naturally. The people on the island grow the grapefruit. Each island is covered in grapefruit trees. The grapefruits on the islands, although are very delicious, are very difficult to eat because of the tough peels. The grapefruits grown on the islands are larger than a regular grapefruit.

When a hungry Snorlax traversed the islands in search for food, Ruby put the area on lockdown because she feared for the survival of the grapefruit.

Places of interest

Grapefruit Headquarters

The headquarters of the Grapefruit Islands. In here, there is an electronic map of the seven islands, and when grapefruit is being stolen, the island on the map starts to glow and blink. It is where Ruby watches the Grapefruit Islands for poachers stealing her grapefruit. Outside, the building looks like a warehouse. It is also a place where grapefruit can be stored. The building is located on Grapefruit Island No. 3. Ash and his friends built a stage for Jigglypuff here.

Processing Plant

This building is mentioned in the anime, but not shown. It is not known what it does, or what island it is on.

In the anime

In Snack Attack, a Snorlax was roaming from island to island eating grapefruits from the trees. When Ash and his friends saved the islands, Ash caught the Snorlax.
