Trivia
- Each of the Pokémon-ex in EX Ruby & Sapphire seem to be based on popular cards from pre-EX-series sets. This card in particular seems to combine elements from Jungle Scyther and Neo Destiny Scyther.
- Also, of the eight Pokémon made into Pokémon ex in EX Ruby & Sapphire, this and Chansey ex are the only two who weren't considered to be final evolutions as of Generation III. As such, these Pokémon's evolved forms were later also made into Pokémon-ex, capable of evolving from these cards - Scizor ex and Blissey ex, respectively.
Origin
Agility and Slash are both moves in the Pokémon games that Scyther can learn.
