In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, there are hold-items called scarves that increase statistics or make the Pokémon immune to certain status conditions when held. These are sometimes referred to as bands, bows, or ribbons.

Scarves that prevent status conditions

Beware: the Pokémon's Belly will go down faster while traveling through walls. MDGTI With this, a Pokémon can move and attack through walls, cross hot floors, and so on. But be careful! However, it also makes the Pokémon's Belly go down. MDTDS A held item that causes the Pokémon to shrug off any effects from moves and pass them on to an adjacent Pokémon but also makes the Pokémon's belly go down every time it happens. Note: the effects of some moves can't be passed. MDGTI The holder can shrug off moves and pass them on to a nearby Pokemon. But be careful! The holder loses HP every time it happens. If its HP is too low, it won't work.

In the anime

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate!, all the members of Team Go-Getters received one Pecha Scarf each from Aunty Kangaskhan. The Scarves later protected the trio from the Poison Powder attack of a group of Shroomish.

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness, Sunflora bought a Scarf for each member of Team Poképals, including herself. Piplup got a Joy Ribbon, Chimchar got a Defense Scarf, and Sunflora got a Power Band. The two former ones reappared in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - Beyond Time & Darkness.
