Sand Force (Japanese: すなのちから Sand Force) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. Fourteen Pokémon can have this Ability.
Effect
In battle
Sand Force raises the power of Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-type moves by 30% while a Sandstorm is in effect. It also gives the user immunity to damage from Sandstorm.
Outside of battle
Currently, its outside of battle effects are unknown.

- Shellos is the only Pokémon with this Ability that can appreciate its full effect under normal conditions: the other thirteen Pokémon are naturally immune to damage from Sandstorm because of their type(s).
