Trivia
- Sacred Fire became a physical move when damage categories were introduced in Generation IV. However, its animation resembles that of a special move. This change may have been made to take advantage of Ho-Oh's higher Attack stat, as it was still its signature move.
- Sacred Fire is the only physical Fire-type move that does not make contact.
