Loading the Dex! (Japanese: よロトしく、ボク、ロトム図鑑ロト! Hello, Roto, I'm the Rotom Pokédex, Roto!) is the third episode of the Sun & Moon series, and the 942nd episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on November 24, 2016 as a one-hour special alongside SM004, in Canada on April 1, 2017, in the United Kingdom on April 13, 2017, and is scheduled to air in the United States on May 13, 2017.

At the airport, a group of passengers get off their plane which include Team Rocket. In a flashback, Giovanni is shown bringing up several images of Pokémon found only in Alola as Meowth vows to kick Persian of the bosses lap and take its place as Giovanni instructs them to go and collect Pokémon he hasn't seen before and fulfill the ambitions of Team Rocket. At Professor Kukui's house after giving Ash his Pokédex, Professor Kukui connects the Pokédex which confuses Pikachu as the lights start to sizzle. Ash wonders what is going on as Professor Kukui says wait and see as a Rotom appears. Professor Kukui tells Ash they just to wait until Rotom goes inside and as Ash wonders if this means go inside the Pokédex, Rotom does just that leaving Ash curious as Rotom Pokédex becomes active.

- A Rotom inhabits Ash's new Pokédex, turning it into a Rotom Pokédex.
