Russet (Japanese: イモタロー Imotarō) is a minor recurring character of the Pokémon anime who competed in the Vertress Conference. He is from Inakano Town.

History

Russet debuted in Curtain Up, Unova League! on the screen of the preliminary match-ups. After that, he reappeared in Mission: Defeat Your Rival! on the screen showing the match-ups for the second round, meaning that he had made it through the first round. In Lost at the League!, it was revealed that he had made it through the second and third rounds as well when he appeared on the screens again.
