Tricks
The player can perform certain tricks while using the Roller Skates. Each trick must first be learned from an NPC before it can be used. The tricks are purely aesthetic and have no gameplay effect.
The player can learn five Roller Skate tricks:
- Backflip — Taught by a Roller Skater on North Boulevard, outside Hotel Richissime, below a tree.
- Parallel Swizzle — Taught by a Roller Skater inside an office building on the western end of South Boulevard.
- Running Start — Taught by a Roller Skater at the monument in Vert Plaza.
- 360 — Taught by a Roller Skater inside Café Rouleu on Estival Avenue.
- Cosmic Flip — Can only be learned if the player already knows all the other tricks. Taught by the Boss in Lost Hotel.
