Rocket's Sneasel (Japanese: R団のニューラ Rocket's Nyula) is a Darkness-type Basic Pokémon card. It was released as a Best of Game promotional card.

Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. The Japanese version of this card was released in CoroCoro magazine in August 2001. The English version of this card was released at BattleZone events in January 2003. A jumbo versions of the card was also released, with the winner logo, which lack the reverse-holographic treatment.

Trivia

This card was the first of only two VS-style cards to see release outside Japan, the other being Rocket's Scizor.

Origin

Continuous Scratch may be based on Fury Swipes, a move in the Pokémon games that Sneasel can learn.
