Roar of Time (Japanese: ときのほうこう Roar of Time) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature move of Dialga.
Roar of Time inflicts damage and then forces the user to recharge during the next turn. Unless this attack misses, the user will always have to recharge the next turn.
In other games
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
The user will inflict heavy damage on all opposing Pokémon in the room. The user recharges the next turn if hits successfully. In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Dialga roars in order to resurrect the player (who has been erased from existence).
Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia
In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, Dialga is available in a Special Mission. At the beginning of the mission, it uses Roar of Time to send the player and Wendy back in time to before the player moved to Chicole Village. If the player fails to capture Dialga within a hidden time limit, Dialga will send them back to the beginning of the mission.

- Roar of Time has the highest base power of any Dragon-type move.
- Despite the name implying a relation to sound, Roar of Time is not blocked by Soundproof.
- In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2, Roar of Time hits all Pokemon in a room. However, it hits only one Pokemon in DPPtHGSSBW. The same happens with Spacial Rend.
