Roar of Time (Japanese: ときのほうこう Roar of Time) is a damage-dealing Dragon-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature move of Dialga.

Effect

Roar of Time inflicts damage and then forces the user to recharge during the next turn. Unless this attack misses, the user will always have to recharge the next turn.

Mystery Dungeon

The user will inflict heavy damage on all opposing Pokémon in the room, including the user and any allies if it's confused. The user recharges the next turn if hits successfully.

In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, Dialga is available in a Special Mission. At the beginning of the mission, it uses Roar of Time to send the player and Wendy back in time to before the player moved to Chicole Village. If the player fails to capture Dialga within a hidden time limit, Dialga will send them back to the beginning of the mission.

Dialga Dialga's eyes glow orange and the diamond on its chest glows blue. The fins behind it grow larger and Dialga opens its mouth, an indigo ball forming in front of it. It then fires an indigo beam from the ball at the opponent. After the attack has been fired, the fins on its back shrink back to normal size.
