Richard
Richard (Japanese: ピノ・ノワール Pinot Noir) is an A-class Pokémon Connoisseur and the character of the day in Clash of the Connoisseurs!. He was chosen along with Cilan by Mr. Hattori to help choose a Pokémon for his daughter, Merigold. Richard believed that the perfect Pokémon for her would be Petilil because of its scent and cuteness. Cilan disagreed with him thinking that a half Grass-type would be more suitable rather than a pure one. Since they couldn't agree, the two Connoisseurs decided to have a battle to see who was right. He ended up losing the battle.
