A Repel is an item which lets the player walk a certain number of steps without encountering wild Pokémon with a lower level than the first member in the player's party. It is manufactured by Silph Co., and is sold in most Poké Marts. Its design is that of an aerosol spray and is similar to insect repellent. It is available in three strengths. It is the base of the Repel trick.
