Works well if it is the same type as the move used by the last Pokémon.

Reflect Type (Japanese: ミラータイプ Mirror Type) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Reflect Type changes the user's type to match the type or types of the target. If the target has had a type added by Forest's Curse or Trick-or-Treat, Reflect Type will also copy the added Grass or Ghost type respectively. Reflect Type works through Illusion, but fails when used by a Pokémon with Multitype. It bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the opponent is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.

Reflect Type will fail if the target is a pure Fire-type Pokémon that has lost its Fire type due to Burn Up; if such a target has additionally been affected by Forest's Curse or Trick-or-Treat, however, Reflect Type will cause the user to become a Normal type with an added Grass or Ghost type respectively.

Reflect Type can be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing Synchronoise to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.

If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-Reflect Type, the user's Special Attack stat is raised by one stage.
