Pokémon world locations |
The Realgam Tower (Japanese: ラルガタワー Ralga Tower) is a gigantic ivory spear projecting far into the heavens. It is an impressive sight in most areas of the world, even more so for sleepy Orre. The tower itself is located in the south-central area of the desert region.
Containing several floors and chambers, the Realgam Tower seems to be built both as a fortress and a high-class hotel. The entrance to the main tower itself is obscured by a series of half-buried tunnels and dead-ends in the surrounding desert.
When four keys are inserted into the base of the tower, the tower's hotel area opens. Impeccably decorated, the Realgam Tower is filled with exquisite paintings and statues of various Pokémon. There are several areas for guests - an information desk and reception area, several Pokémon healing devices and PCs, a bar, a casino, and many other luxuries honeycomb the tower. At the very top of the tower is a giant, white Colosseum surrounded by a stadium suspended in mid-air.
The tower was constructed over a long period of time by Cipher. As part of their Shadow Pokémon plan, they intended to use Realgam Tower to lure rich Pokémon enthusiasts into paying for their chance to see intense Shadow Pokémon battles.
In Pokémon Colosseum, the player can capture, in order, Delibird, Sunflora, Heracross, Skarmory, Miltank, Houndoom, Absol, Tropius, Metagross, and Tyranitar. Also, the four Cipher Admins are rematched here, and each will give Wes a key. When all four are collected, the main part of the tower can be entered.
In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Realgam Tower is no longer in Cipher's control. In addition to the Colosseum, the tower lobbies have been turned into gaming facilities for housing Battle Sims and Battle Bingo. Doing well in these activities award the player with Poké Coupons. In the five years between Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD, Realgam Tower has replaced Phenac Stadium as the preferred Colosseum for Phenac City's citizens.

Trainers with a Poké Ball by their names may be challenged for a rematch after defeating certain bosses. In a rematch they may have higher-level Pokémon, and any Shadow Pokémon previously caught will be replaced. |
If a Cipher Admin's Shadow Pokémon wasn't snagged during the first battle with them, it will replace their final Pokémon here.

Trivia
- The statues in Realgam Tower correspond to the Shadow Pokémon owned by the four Cipher Admins in Colosseum - Sudowoodo, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou.
- Additionally, several portraits of Ludicolo can be seen.
Name origin
Realgam Tower is probably a corruption of the Spanish word "real", meaning royal, and "game", as a reference to its several gaming facilities. The name may also be taken from the word "realgar".
