This card was released in the English {{TCG|Base Set}}, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|Expansion Pack}}. It was included in the {{TCG|Trainer Deck A}} with a red border and "Trainer Deck A" printed on the back. The deck was only given to prototype {{TCG|Pokémon League}}s before the Base Set's market release. It was later reprinted in the English {{TCG|Base Set 2}} and {{TCG|Legendary Collection}} expansions.

Release information

This card was released in the English Base Set, originating from the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was included in the Trainer Deck A with a red border and "Trainer Deck A" printed on the back. The deck was only given to prototype Pokémon Leagues before the Base Set's market release. It was later reprinted in the English Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection expansions.

Bite is a move in the Pokémon games, though Rattata could not learn it until Generation II, via breeding. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
