Randy (AG096)

Randy is a character of the day who appeared in Training Wrecks. He did not receive a name in the Japanese dub.

Randy is one of the Pokémon Trainers training under Rocky on Muscle Island. He was first seen on the island when Team Rocket arrived after their Magikarp submarine was swept away by a giant wave. Randy was doing arm exercises using a heavy-looking steel Poké Ball. When he discovered the trio lurking in the bushes, he assumed that they were on the island to join the training, and thus arranged a program for them.

After Ash and his friends were also given exercise programs, Randy went up to Max in order to give him some support and watched on as the group—save for Ash as he was battling Rocky at the time—and Team Rocket continued with their exercise programs.
