A Rancher (Japanese: ぼくじょうおじさん Farm Man) is a type of Pokémon trainer that first debuted in the Generation IV games. They are depicted as middle-aged men in cowboy hats and pitchforks. Most are found near Solaceon Town.

They use a variety of Pokémon.

Rachers are the male counterparts of Cowgirls. They also form half of the Double battle team, Belle & Pa; The other half of the team is a Cowgirl.
