Pyrite Colosseum (Japanese: パイラコロシアム Pyra Colosseum) is the Colosseum in Pyrite Town in the Orre region. It appears in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. It is run by Duking and powered by the nearby windmill-driven power station.

Pokémon Colosseum

In Pokémon Colosseum, the Cipher Admin Miror B. is behind a secret operation handing out Shadow Pokémon to winners of the tournament. Wes enters and wins the tournament in order to infiltrate the Pyrite Bldg. After defeating Miror B., the Colosseum returns to normal operation under Duking.

Story Mode

All Story Mode Colosseum challenges are conducted in Double Battle format.

Before defeating Miror B.

The player must clear this gauntlet to gain access to the Pyrite Bldg.









Defeating all of the Trainers earns the player $4848 and TM06 (Toxic).

Round 1 (after defeating Miror B.)









Defeating all of the Trainers earns the player $6308 and TM01 (Focus Punch).

Round 2









Defeating all of the Trainers earns the player $7208 and TM07 (Hail).

Round 3









Defeating all of the Trainers earns the player $5972 and TM05 (Roar).

Round 4









Defeating all of the Trainers earns the player $7020 and TM31 (Brick Break).

Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness

In Pokémon XD, Pyrite Colosseum is one of the locations where a previously missed Shadow Pokémon can be snagged from Miror B.. There is also a knockout challenge in Pyrite Colosseum.

Defeating all the Trainers will earn the player $3040 and TM12 (Taunt).

Defeating all the Trainers will earn the player $2880 and TM41 (Torment).
