Psychic Surge (Japanese: サイコメイカー Psycho Maker) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with Psychic Surge enters the battle, it creates Psychic Terrain on the battlefield.

Psychic Terrain has the following effects on Pokémon that are on the ground.

• It prevents affected Pokémon from being hit by moves with increased priority.
• It increases the damage done by Psychic-type moves used by affected Pokémon.
