The Psychic type is one of the ten TCG types. It is represented by the color purple.

The Psychic type contains all Psychic, Ghost and Poison Pokémon found in the video games. For example, Alakazam, Gengar and Garbodor are Psychic types in the TCG.

After the Diamond & Pearl set, the Psychic type also contained a lot of Template:Type2 Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Muk and Weezing are now Psychic types in the TCG.
