Provo

Provo (Japanese: ポルト Porto) is a character of the day who appeared in Pursuing a Lofty Goal!. He is voiced by Unshō Ishizuka in Japanese.

Provo was the four-time defending champion of the PokéRinger competition in Squallville. He planned to reinstate his championship for the current year as well. His first opponent was Paul.

Provo used his Dragonite in the competition against Paul's Honchkrow. Honchkrow defeated Dragonite and Provo was forced to relinquish his championship title.

• Provo's Japanese name sounds remarkably similar to the former champion of the Crossgate Town PokéRinger competition in Hoenn, Volt, from That's Just Swellow. It is more similar in the kana spellings of their names; ポルト Poruto and ボルト Boruto.
