Professor Icarus (Japanese: イモリ博士 Dr. Imori) is the character of the day in A UFO for Elgyem!.
Professor Icarus first appeared in a flashback as the townspeople of Area 28 told how they experienced random visions while visiting or being around his house. Cilan was intrigued by this and the trio decided to go investigate. Icarus invited them into his house and discussed the strange occurrences with them, but he suddenly got a vision of a machine exploding and rushed to his basement. Ash, Iris, and Cilan followed him and a found a large machine was overloading and on the verge of exploding. Icarus tried to shut down the system but was not able to do so in time, so he ordered Ash and his friends to unplug the machine. The plug was too heavy for them to pull out, so an Elgyem appeared and used Telekinesis to pull out the plug. Icarus then introduced the Elgyem as his friend.
