Release information

This card was included in the Expedition Base Set, first released in the Japanese Base Expansion Pack. In Japan, copies were subsequently available in the fourth volume of Pokémon Card Information, distributed for free at participating stores in November 2001. This print differs from the Base Expansion Pack print by being unlimited edition (everything else is the same), whereas the set was only released in 1st edition. (Some other unlimited edition Base Expansion Pack cards were given at events and through lotteries, but all unlimited edition E1 Ponyta cards come from this magazine.)
