PokéJungle.net

Pokejungle.net is a personal blog and news source. The most ever site visitors was on the release of Diamond and Pearl, and it reached 10,000. The site is ran by the webmaster, who is known as Pokejungle, and also goes by the name Paul.

History

Pokejungle's history goes back to the year 2003. As posted by Pokejungle in his bio: "A little PJN History: Started in late 2003 / early 2004 when I was 13. I used my ISP’s free webspace. Hosts of PJN include Earthlink, Hosting Anime, Freewebs, Shyper, Elixant, and Downtown Host “PokeJungle” was the original site name until I added “Network” awhile after. There was also a period of time (2 months maybe) when it was called “Crobat’s Jungle”. The early forums used ProBoards and were named “Crobat’s Cavern”. This later became Mt. Moon Community after we rebranded it and launched it on my own hosting. Most people to visit my site in one day was 10,000 when Diamond and Pearl launched. So far in the BW era I have reached near 7,000 people in one day."[1]

Pokejungle also posts about himself in his bio: 'pokejungle is just a regular guy who loves pokemon. too be honest he’s pretty cool and pretty nice so go talk to him if you want to find out more. right now hes a 20 year old college student who runs pjn in his spare time. besides being a pokemon nerd he also enjoys gaming on his dsi, ps3, and psp. sometimes when he is bored of the internet or games he’ll hang out with people in real life. also he is proud to be gay, loves cherrim, and can’t wait for black and white to be released. one of the sites that inspired him to make his own website was “kyogre’s lair”. those memories are very dear to him. <3 pokejungle'[2]

SITE CHANGES

The site has gone through many changes. The most recent change was a complete update, on July 29th, 2010. Though Pokejungle had recently held a contest for users to create a new banner for the site, he ended up partnering with TopHat of PLDH[3]

RUMORS THAT WERE RIGHT

Pokejungle is a regular watcher of the site 2ch. As such, he find many likely rumors, which he translates and posts. Many of these have become true. This site will be updated with a list of true rumors when a complete list has been compiled.
