The Pokémon Summit is a Pokémon research conference featured exclusively in the Pokémon Gold & Silver: The Golden Boys manga. It is a meeting for all Pokémon researchers as well as all the Gym Leaders from Kanto and Johto. It is held in Ecruteak City in a stadium built on the site formerly occupied by the Burned Tower.
Gold attends the conference with Whitney as he is traveling with her. While there, he is reunited with Professor Elm, Bugsy and Falkner, and is introduced to Bill. However, before the Summit gets underway, it is interrupted by a group of Team Rocket Grunts, led by Grey, aiming to steal all the rare and powerful Pokémon present at the conference. They threaten to blow up the stadium, however, they are stopped when Entei, Raikou and Suicune appear.
