* On page 21, question 3 erroneously states that since {{p|Smoochum}} is an {{t|Ice}} type Pokémon that it has an advantage over {{p|Azumarill}}, a {{t|Water}} type despite neither type being super effective against each other. Question 6 on the next page also erroneously states that {{p|Hoothoot}}, a {{t|Flying}} type can defeat {{p|Phanpy}}, a {{t|Ground}} type despite neither being super effective against the other.
* On page 38-39, and 71; while Ash was correct in stating {{p|Igglybuff}} is not a {{t|Fire}} type, it can learn several fire type moves meaning {{TRT}} may have been telling the truth in saying Igglybuff used {{m|Flamethrower}} against them.
* On page 41, it is erroneously stated that {{p|Onix}}, a {{t|Rock}} type can beat {{p|Grimer}}, a {{t|Poison}} type with rock type moves. This should state that Onix can use '''ground''' type moves to beat Grimer.
