The Sinnoh branch was introduced in Perturbed by Pachirisu, where Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum were made honorary members of the club and taken to the club house by the chairman.

The Fan Club appeared in Vermilion City, where it was visited by Satoshi, who was forced to listen to the chairman making a long speech about his favorite Pokémon.

Pokémon Fan Club was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English e-Card Series (the Japanese e-Card Era). First released in the Japanese The Town on No Map expansion, it later debuted in English in the Aquapolis expansion, with both prints featuring an illustration by Ken Sugimori. It was later reprinted in Japanese as one of the PCG-P Promotional cards and in English in POP Series 4, with a new illustration by Ken Sugimori. It was reprinted yet again in the Japanese Wild Blaze expansion, both as a regular card and a Full Art card. The regular print features an illustration based on the Yusuke Ohmura artwork of both genders of the Generation VI Poké Fan Trainer class, while the Full Art print features the debut artwork of Emi Ando.
